Creating a great event is one of the most exhilarating things you can do, seeing all those people have a good time. The event that blew my mind was SXSW - an amazing mix of tech and music, with bands finding any place they can to play from a garage forecourt to a bike shop. That’s cool.

Alexander Will
I love events because each and every one is unique. I was there for Edward Sharpe at the Old Vic Tunnels, Adele at the Tabernacle, Arcade Fire at Brixton Academy, Terracotta Warriors at the British Museum.

Kevin Eyres
Live music is what I really like. Each concert is such a unique experience: from West End theatre to BB King at the Royal Albert Hall.
Eric Lawson Smith
I love live music. My favourite bands: the Chemical Brothers and Thievery Corporation. Amazing every time.
Clive Punter
The 1990 Mandela concert at the 'old' Wembley was a real highlight for me in my 'youth'...awesome talent creating a mega event for the world. I love the memories from great events.

Events are meant to be shared and remembered, so go with someone yo care about. My first concert was the Rolling Stones when I was 12 with my dad and best friend.

James Conroy-Finn
My favourite events are ones that make me think, and inspire me. I'll go to most events and always take something away from the experience.

Jesper Kjeldgaard
My favourite kind of events are loud beer-fueled rock/metal gigs. For quieter moods I like anything which includes a bonfire.

Gearóid O’Rourke
I'm a theatre buff, so my recent highlights have been seeing Michael Sheen go slowly mad in Hamlet, Cillian Murphy go even madder in Misterman and watching an entire season of Shakespeare perfomed as it should be in the Globe.

Sam Willis
I really enjoy live music events, and the one that stands out for me is Bestival 2011. Getting to see The Cure play was really special, even if it did rain for most of the weekend!

Oli Turner
I particularly like unusual, one off events like the Buddhist ‘Festival of the Tooth’ in Kandy, Sri Lanka; an explosion of colour, sounds and smells.

Matt Soczywko
I like going clubbing and to gigs: one day I want to go to Coachella. Corsica Studios is probably my favourite place for a night out in London, great soundsystem and atmosphere, with countless good memories.

Jenny Tobias
I like going to arts events and the theatre. The most memorable event I’ve been to was Burning Man, in the Nevada desert - it's a bit different to most festivals as you have to take everything you need to survive for a week, even water, which creates an amazing Robinson Crusoe-type atmosphere.

Nathalie Miles
I love all events from live music to a simple family get together. But what I love most is connecting people and bring together those with a common interest and creating amazing memories.

I love events showcasing artists I learned about at school. Since Impressionism is my favourite art movement, the most memorable event was the Edgar Degas exhibition at the Orsay Museum.

Ted Maxwell
Being there for the opening night at the theatre, the first airing of a new song, or the debate of novel ideas - that’s why I love London.

Nick Bareham
Coachella, 2010. Cinematic Orchestra. Sunset. Cold Beer. Good friends. Native American Costume. It embodied what events are all about for me. Well, maybe not the friends.

Ben Haith
I love events and enjoy everything from festivals to fairs with friends and family. My favourite event of the past few years would have to be the London Olympics.

Richard Ormond
I love going to festivals like Glastonbury & escaping the real world for 4 days although I kept bumping into my CEO. The music, food & people is so eclectic. Most memorable gig was The Stone Roses In Brighton 96.

Amy Moloney
Once upon a time it was all about clubbing in Ibiza and going to live music events. Now it's more about children's events: 'The Enchanted Christmas House' at the London Arts House last year: totally interactive and entertaining for children and grow-ups alike!

Charlotte Clancy
Whether it is a west end play with my family, or a cheesy Girls Aloud concert with my oldest friends, the people who you share an event with are what make it so incredible.
