Description

Water is used on stage to produce all the sounds live, transforming a collection of found objects into aqua percussion instruments. This water orchestra has a wide palette of sounds, extending from the familiar to the unexpected.Combining these sounds with real-time looping and processing, a warm and enthralling musical performance is created. Just like water itself, the musical content of H2drOp is a fluid and adaptable substance ranging from natural chill out grooves and up-lifting world dance beats to more edgy, urban and experimental landscapes.

Classical Percussionist Nuno Brito and Digital Alchemist Nathan Harmer are collaborating extensively to create this unique and intriguing show that has water as a central theme.
